Today, I want to share an interesting case study from the Akashic Records.
A woman came to me because she was experiencing difficulties in two important areas of her life—her marriage and her career.
She felt completely powerless in her relationship.
Her husband was extremely dominating, and she often felt that her opinions, emotions, and needs were not being heard.
No matter how much she tried to express herself, she felt controlled and suppressed within the marriage.
At the same time, she was also struggling professionally.
She had lost her job in the IT sector and, despite having the required experience and skills, she was unable to find another suitable opportunity.
She wanted to understand why she was facing control in her marriage and repeated blockages in her career at the same time.
When we opened her Akashic Records, we discovered that these two problems were deeply connected.
The Records revealed a past-life relationship between her and her husband.
In that lifetime, her husband had been a highly talented badminton player. He had the ability and potential to achieve great success in his career.
The woman, however, had been in a position of authority and influence.
She had the power to make important decisions related to his selection and professional opportunities.
Because of personal grudges and the possibility of receiving small personal benefits, she misused her authority.
She unfairly removed him from selections and prevented him from receiving the opportunities he genuinely deserved.
Her decisions negatively affected his career and left him feeling powerless.
In the present lifetime, the same imbalance had returned—but the roles had changed.
The person who had once held authority was now experiencing powerlessness.
The soul whose career had previously been blocked had returned as her husband and was now holding control within the relationship.
Her difficulties in finding a job were also connected to the same unresolved karmic pattern.
This did not mean that she had to tolerate domination or remain trapped in an unhealthy situation.
The purpose of revealing the past-life connection was not to blame or punish her.
It was to help her understand why the same themes of power, control, authority, and career suppression were appearing together in her present life.
Karma is not always about punishment.
It often brings us into situations where we can understand the consequences of our previous choices and consciously respond in a different way.
In the past life, she had used her authority to take away another person’s opportunities.
In the present life, she was learning what it felt like to lose her voice, independence, and professional direction.
Once the karmic pattern was revealed, the healing work could begin.
She needed to release the guilt and energetic connection associated with the past-life event, while also learning to reclaim her voice and create healthy boundaries in her present relationship.
She also needed to stop seeing her career difficulties as proof that she was incapable or undeserving.
The block was not necessarily related to her skills.
It was connected to an unresolved soul-level experience involving power and professional opportunity.
This Akashic Records case study teaches us that difficulties in different areas of life may sometimes have the same underlying root.
A relationship struggle may be connected to a career blockage.
A feeling of powerlessness may be connected to an earlier experience of misusing power.
When we only look at the visible problem, we may not understand why the same patterns continue to repeat.
The Akashic Records help us look beneath the surface and recognise the deeper karmic connections influencing our present experiences.
Awareness does not change the past, but it gives us the opportunity to make a different choice today.
Healing begins when we stop repeating the old power struggle and choose responsibility, fairness, boundaries, and conscious action instead.
